TAX ASSISTANCE
Qualified seniors can receive free tax assistance from volunteers of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) each year in February and March. Please call Readers Services at 630/887-8760 ext. 239 to find out if you qualify for this service, to schedule an appointment, or for more information.
55-ALIVE CLASSES
55-Alive Classes provide a review of driving rules and safety for seniors about to take their driver's license renewal test. These free AARP classes are scheduled periodically throughout the year. To find out if a class is coming up, please check our program schedule.
SENIOR HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM
This free service is sponsored by the Illinois Department of Insurance. SHIP counselors can answer your questions about Medicare, prescription drug coverage, long-term care insurance, Medicare claims and appeals, Medicare beneficiary rights and guarantees. Call the Readers Services Desk at 630/887-8760 ext. 239 to make an appointment with a SHIP representative.
