Computer and Magazine Assistant
You: People-oriented and friendly, enthusiastic, self-motivated, adaptable, and able to resolve demanding situations with equanimity and graciousness. You must want to provide first rate customer service, be adept with technology (have basic computer expertise and the capability of learning additional skills), work well independently and be good with details.

Duties: Assist patrons with registering for and using our public Internet computers and laptops. Handle basic troubleshooting of our computers and software. Assist users in finding magazines. Check-in, process and shelve newspapers. Perform other duties associated with computers and periodicals.
Main Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; one year of public contact experience; demonstrated computer skills.
General information:
Part-time position, 12-14 hours per week on average, plus some weekends. $12.30 per hour. Schedule will include daytime, evening and weekend hours, so you’ll need flexible availability. Accuracy and attention to detail required. This position requires direct contact with the public most of the time.
