What is a blog?
A blog (see Wikipedia for a fuller definition) is an online journal that contains short entries that are arranged chronologically. We welcome comments.
What exactly is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) delivers new articles from chosen blogs and news sites directly to your internet browser, inbox, or desktop. You no longer have to check your favorite blogs or news sites to get the latest news. For more information about RSS, read this article.
How do I use RSS?
RSS uses feed aggregators (what is a feed aggregator?) to download blog articles to your web browser or your inbox. When you click on the button associated with one of our blogs, you will get a page of code. Simply copy the web address of that page into one of the aggregators. Select an aggregator below to get step-by-step instructions on how to send your feed to that aggregator. Choose the aggregator that best suits you:
- If you’d prefer to get your feeds on a web page that you can access at any time, from anywhere, try Bloglines or MyYahoo.
- For a browser-based aggregator try the Mozilla Firefox browser, which has an easy to use, built-in RSS aggregator feature, (Download Mozilla Firefox) or try Pluck, which works with both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
- Or try NewsGator to get your feeds delivered by email.
