LIBRARY ACTIONS
Here’s what the library is doing:
- Paper Retriever™ in the parking lot. Available to the public
- Used Illinois Clean Energy Foundation Lighting Grant funds for upgrade to energy efficient lighting bulbs and fixtures.
- Recycle paper, plastic and aluminum in building.
- Front stairs resurfaced with recycled rubber.
- Reusable canvas bags available for purchase for "frequent shoppers."
- Several new trees planted recently.
- Use of research databases (e-resources) replaces print resources.
