The Friends of the Indian Prairie Public Library was founded in 1986 to create a nonprofit group of volunteers who are dedicated to supporting the library through volunteer services and fundraising activities. Since 1996, the Friends have contributed more than $150,000 to the library. The Friends raise money through:

The Friends meet on the second Tuesday of every other month (February, April, June, August, October, and December) at 1:30 p.m. To join the Friends of the Indian Prairie Public Library, please print and fill out the membership form (PDF).
