Donate to the Indian Prairie Public Library Foundation

Financial donations of all types are accepted by the library’s Foundation. The Foundation is a tax-deductible, 501(c)3 organization, so your support qualifies as a charitable contribution. Find out more about the Foundation.

Honor a Person, Memory, or Event

A gift to the library is a unique way to honor a special person, occasion or a cherished memory. Donations can be made to the library or the Foundation. We offer three recognition options:

Shop Online

Help the Indian Prairie Public Library Foundation raise money to support the library by shopping online through AmazonSmile and iGive. Donate Books, DVDs and CDs

Donations of gently-used materials that are in good condition may be made to the Friends of IPPL for sale in the Inspiration Cafe. Materials may be dropped off at the library during business hours. While we cannot provide the value of the donated items, we will provide a receipt.

The Friends accept:

  • Books in good condition
  • DVDs and CDs

They do not accept:

  • Encyclopedias
  • Textbooks
  • Magazines
  • Moldy, mushy, or damaged items
  • VHS or audiotapes

You can donate encyclopedias, textbooks and books in any condition to SCARCE.
